One of the primary technical challenges involved plumbing fixtures located below the elevation of the main sewer line. Specialized drainage and plumbing solutions were implemented to ensure proper long-term functionality and code compliance. The project also required exterior drainage improvements and perimeter drain work to protect the new living space from moisture intrusion.

Outcome
The result was a fully functional, code-compliant basement ADU capable of generating rental income while substantially increasing the usable square footage and overall property value.
